The text file should also indicate the taper was late getting the tape rolling on Astro Monkey. Also as noted below there is a dropout in Crowded Tub that lasted about a minute that was just faded out and back in. Both of these were corrected when it was synched with the audience recording to create the matrix source.

P-Groove can catch some people off-guard.
Perhaps it used to sound too nice if possible, or like a Christian Rock Jamband.(Not that theres anything wrong with that.) But let me tell you they have some of the sweetest sounds, and they are getting nastier each time I hear em.
I have only seen them a few times. Their 05 Bonnaroo performance was one of the highlights.
P-Groove is a force to be reckoned with.
Most importantly this sound quality is unequaled.

I say read this review, because i was trying to get your attention! This band is something else. I got a recording last year and heard them and was like, "ah what's the big deal." well they must have been off or something that night because they threw down this night. I really like the mellow GROOVED out transitions, and I really like how they go about playing their music. It's not nearly as in your face as a band such as Moe. but still very very effective in how they come accross. I live in Richmond Va, and the reason I actually gave them a second shot because I was at a duo show and the guy running it said that the other night pgroove had played a few teenagers had ridding the greyhound bus up from savhanna or wherever down south these guys are from, and I figure if you're going to ride a greyhound for 10-12 hours must be something crucial about this band. Yes yes yes, totally baddass motherfuckers. Just got my state theatre and starr hill ticks. Why is this review so long? Oh because I'm in fucking euphoria right now. Commence downloading!!!

I live in Savannah, so i understand if my viewpoint seems a little biased. However, this is best pgroove performance to grace my headphones. Thanks for the amazing recording Joe. Brock and the boys, keep throwing that happy funk down.

This show was definitely quality PGroove. They were locked into each other and transitioning seamlessly between songs. Great performance by the band and a fantastic sounding soundboard. This show is a must for your PGroove collection. Thanks to the taper!

I attended this show, and it was my first for pGroove. Needless to say, I was blown away. I am sooooooooooo glad that someone added a soundboard here! I saw some mics up so I knew I'd be able to find this somewhere, but a SBD copy makes all the difference. Sound is amazing. Get Down Tonight was the perfect choice for this show!
